Use login items to get your Mac ready in no time!Do you wish you had all the apps you’re using on a daily basis ready to rock for you when you turn your Mac on in the morning?

It’s easy! Use “Login items” to make your life easier!

Go to System Preferences>Users & Groups>Select your user account and click “login items” on the top right corner.

You can simply click the + to add any apps you wish to open automatically when your Mac turns on in the morning.

Obviously, if your Mac is 10 years old or if you’re running Snow Leopard as an OS, you may simply slow your Mac down dramatically instead.

But if you have a relatively recent Mac, and are up-to-date, you should be able to benefit a lot from this feature.

As of July 2015, my iMac is 4 years old and my Macbook Air less than a year old and having a dozen apps open automatically in the morning doesn’t bother them.

The main benefit?

It prepares your workspace for you!

No more clicking on a dozen apps to wait until they open and rearrange them.

You’re ready to rock with your tools to succeed!

And if you wish to increase your productivity even more, check this post on using Spaces on a Mac.
