The “Find My iPhone” feature has existed for a while but iOS 13 takes it to the next level with many more cool options.

To find it, go to Settings > tap your name at the top (you would need to be signed into your iCloud account) > Find My.

There, you will find new features such as turning on “Find My iPhone” to show your iPhone and other supported accessories on a map, the ability to share your location with family & friends in iMessage and Find My, make personal requests using Siri on HomePod, and use automations in the Home app.

Just below, you can view your family members (if you have setup Family Sharing) and share your location with them if you wish. Family members you share location with can also see the location of your devices in Find My iPhone.

When you tap “Find My iPhone”, you’ll also be greeted with a brand new feature named “Enable Offline Finding”.

This is one of the best features of iOS 13 that lets your lost devices be located even when they’re not connected to WiFi or LTE by making the most out of Bluetooth and proximity to other nearby Apple devices.

When an Apple device approaches your lost device (even if yours is currently offline), they will connect over Bluetooth and relay its location. This means you’ve got a lot more chances to recover your lost device!

The feature “Send Last Location” is fantastic too as it will send the last location of your iPhone to Apple when the battery is critically low.
