Since Apple introduced the “software” Home button (meaning it’s not mechanical anymore), there have been some changes on how you can reset your iPhone.

Well, guess what? It was already different on iPhone 7 and there’s now a new way on iPhone 8!

How to reset your iPhone 8 (and above)

  1. Press once and quickly release the “volume up” button
  2. Press once and quickly release the “volume down” button
  3. Press and hold the “side button” (power) until you see the Apple logo on your display
